Lunch and Build A Bear

On Sunday after we picked Grayson up from Aunt Jennifer we met Vanessa, Jeff, and the boys for a late lunch/early dinner. We had fun. Brayden really had a blast. He got to color on the table, and he loved giggling over and over to show off :) They gave Grayson a ITunes card, and Brayden a Build A Bear gift card. So today we went to the mall with EVERYONE else. Me and the boys had lunch there, did alittle shopping, then we went to Build A Bear. Brayden chose the monkey instead of the bears and dogs. He did so good, he pushed the button to fill the monkey with fluff, and he even kissed the heart(well he licked it..lol) So we now have Jack the Monkey. Grayson saw a Longhorn he had to have....his name is Bevo :)

Boarding Train

Today was my annual Christmas Party with my "Lunch Bunch". Tommy was happy I was taking so many gifts out of the house this morning, but I returned with double. LOL I got some great gifts and Grayson had a blast digging thru them and of course him and Brayden also had gifts from them.

The weather was sooo beautiful today. We ventured out to Alvin to find somewhere different to eat, we ended up at a yummy BBQ resturant. Then we took the boys to a church where they have a train ride, and some indoor activities. Brayden was so good, he was so amazed by all the Christmas singing and lights. He wore his new squeeky shoes and he kept wanting to walk around, of course holding someones hand. He thought he was gonna get lucky someone dropped popcorn on the floor...lol..he spun around so fast to try and grab it. Good thing mommy is alittle faster. Grayson loved it there, he had hot cocoa, kettle corn, and cotton candy. He gave Brayden his 1st bite of cotton candy...he loved it. The train ride was fun, some really neat scenes.

Snow in Friendswood

It started off today as a VERY cold day and this evening the snow began falling. Last time it snowed here was Dec 2004 so it really came as a surprise. We took the boys out in it a few different times. Was neat, but we are good for another 4 years atleast.

LC Festival and Dickinson Lights

On Saturday we took the boys to the LC Festival and then that evening we went to Dickinson Festival Of Lights. I have never seen so many lights in one place. We had a great day and we enjoyed spending it with grandma and grandpa also.

About Brayden

We welcomed Brayden into our family in Sept 2007. He was born c-section at 38 weeks. Was expecting him to be large like his brother(9lbs7oz) but he was small 7lbs 14oz. About a hour after his arrival he was turning purple so after evaluating him he was transferred to Level 3 NICU. I could not see him that day, but Daddy and Grandma was with him, and took pics for me.
C section babies are usually born with fluid in their lungs still, so he needed help with that. Also he did have pnemonia so he had antibiotics for 7 days. It was a struggle for us....but on Day 9 we brought home our 7lb healthy baby. Its hard to look back and see how sick he was, but looking back at him now you would never know. Hes now 14 months, and has only been sick with a stomach bug. I am fortunate enough to stay home with him. I love watching him grow and watchim discover new things. The last 14 months have been a adventure with this lil' guy,I think he was warning me while I was pregnant, becuz I was exhausted all the time, and he loved to play at 2am. That hasnt changed. When they say that your children will be complete opposites, its true.
