Busy weekend

We have had a super fun filled weekend of celebrations.

On Saturday was mine and Tommys 2nd wedding anniversary. We enjoyed family time in the morning, and exchanged gifts. He bought me a charm for my James Avery bracelet and had it engraved. Then we headed off to my niece and nephews joint birthday party. We was there till late evening. We always have fun getting with family and friends.

Sunday Grandma & Grandpa came over to babysit so that Tommy and I could go celebrate our anniversary. We did some shopping, had a nice quiet lunch, then went to the movies.

Then today was Tommys birthday. We went to dinner, then came home for cupcakes and presents.

A day at the Houston Zoo

Last week we went to the Houston Zoo with some of Braydens friends. We had a wonderful time. The weather started off alittle chilly, but by lunch time was beautiful. The kids were all so good. Last time we went to the zoo was in Oct. Its amazing how differently Brayden acted this time. He was always saying "OHHH" with excitement and pointing. I am really look foward to our next zoo trip.

Just a Lazy Sunday

Our weekend was pretty relaxing. Saturday we went and had a good lunch, then went shopping for new home decor. Sunday Grayson got home early from visiting his Dad in Dallas, so we just sat around, talked and played all day. I am so glad the holidays are over and things can get back to normal.

Christmas Day 2008

Just a few pics from last Christmas..Brayden has changed so much in the past year!

The boys had a wonderful Christmas. Grayson got to scope out the gifts awhile before Brayden woke up, but 10 minutes after Brayden woke up they were digging in. Grayson had enough waiting. Brayden acted like a upwrapping pro, especially when it came to his Bubba's gifts. He loved seeing what Grayson got. Tommys parents were here, my mom and stepdad, and my Dad and stepmom, plus my brother and his family. The house was crazy but we had so much fun.

Christmas Eve 2008

Tommys parents flew in from Oklahoma on Christmas Eve so we all loaded up and went to the airport to meet them. Brayden loved walking around and he loved the big windows. Its been since March since hes seen them but he was all smiles and full of love. After we came back to get them settled in we headed out to dinner with Big Daddy/Ninnie, Grandma/Grandpa, and Shannon and Tesla. We had a good mexican dinner. Then everyone headed back to our house to chat and catch up. After the youngsters were in their Christmas PJ's and in bed, we started preparing the food. Then my favorite part of Christmas came after all the adults went to bed, Santa made his arrival :)
